26th Amendment clears states "The right of CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age." It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND ILLEGAL FOR NON-US CITIZENS TO VOTE!

In Federal elections, yes. But this bill does not try to change that.
From the article:
"The measure would have had no practical effect even if it had passed. Illegal immigrants — and indeed noncitizens as a whole — are not legally able to participate in federal elections."

MSG Stan Hutchison - Still it does not matter to me if it is federal or local.
It is a gateway for the future. Local elections now, then state, then federal. The bottom line as far as I'm concerned, Non-citizens/Illegals have NO RIGHT to vote in the United States. They are NOT legal citizens. WE do not have any rights to vote in THEIR COUNTRIES elections.

MSgt (Join to see) - I would not vote in favor of it, but if states choose to follow that path, it is within their rights.
