Lt Col Charlie Brown It makes a person feel good to do a good deed for someone. Likewise when someone does a good deed for you it has the same effect.

I found that as a recruit in The Marines at Parris Island, SC. ,Kindness is not on the list. I sit here retired from the military and Kindness is very high on my list. I found it is easier to be kind and nice to people than to be a pain in the rear. I am old and at times it is easy to be a real jerk and I look up and see my daughter and/or Granddaughter and I am like putty in their hands.
