It looks like money has yet again reared its ugly head in college sports. First there is the impact of NIL and now contracts for conference media rights the landscape of armature college athletics is being tested. Seems for the sports programs (billion dollar businesses) that schools and athletes aren't so concerned with the academics and education as they are with the Benjamins. While I get the idea of getting paid it seems the NCAA and a number of schools have failed their "students". What's next agents and unions?
Now the Big "10" has "18" teams and the Big "12" - "18" teams. Pac "12" - now down to "4" teams. Seems the only thing these conferences no how to count are the dollars they are raking in.
