How the Army officer who testified against Trump could end up in a court-martial

MY COMMENT:

I will make this easy. If a conversation between the President of the United States, the Commander in Chief, and the head of any country, on a secure line, discussing any topic is not at least CLASSIFIED or FOUO, I'll be damned.

The Dems want us to believe that the President was discussing matters of national security, which, after reading the transcript, he clearly was not. This is the basis for their impeachment circus.

If on the other hand, if he was discussing DIPLOMATIC matters, then the impeachment circus is OUT OF ORDER - the WRONG House Committee's are investigating him.

If YOU disobeyed a directive from YOUR superior, what would happen to YOU? At LEAST it could be considered conduct unbecoming. Insubordination also comes to mind.

Article 88, UCMJ states: Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Homeland Security, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

"Shall be punished."

The news article suggests it could have been an unlawful order, but an Army officer knows better than that. He knows to OBEY the order unless egregious harm could come from obeying it. There was no life or limb or eyesight or embarrassing government secrets involved - the transcript was out. There was no practical urgent reason for LTC Vindman to testify. He had plenty of opportunity to vet his concern about the legality of the order through his chain of command, the IG or Chaplain. The LTC FAILED to follow all of the avenues of redress of his grievance against the order prior to testifying.

Was he given a PASS? Was he promised immunity by the Deep State? Was he blackmailed?

The President needs to go into FULL COURT PRESS, and make good on his statement that if somebody hits him he will hit them back "ten times harder."

The fabric of military effectiveness is loyalty. Without it, we are a rudderless ship, headed for disaster. LTC Vindman should be brought up on charges via the UCMJ. Civilian courts cannot save him. Let him be judged by a jury of his military peers. God, how I wish I were a JAG officer on the prosecution of this beauty!
