2 years??? Something is wrong; it should only take around 6 months these days for a fully developed claim. Don't go through a VSO, get an ebenefits account. It is more easily tracked and you can keep tabs on it yourself. Also, download an app like "my VA disability" so you can get a reasonable expectation of what your condition will receive. If you filed an appeal, and the regional office requested additional information, and it has been 2 years, it is definitely outside timely filing and you must refile your claim. Your VSO claims representative probably dropped the ball. Call the regional office to see if your claim is still in process.

CW I think a "certified" VSO is still the best considering the timeline..Mainly because a "De Nova Hearing" is warranted with what little I know of this case....and e-benefits is a "depositary" like a library you need a trained librarian (VSO) to point out to the VBA the evidence of merits. : thus to avoid all roads to appeals. Salutes CW2 Shawn, jim.

Find a Local DAV Office. They will be more than happy to help you. I had no issues filing and getting my Benefits.
