How to save America's crumbling middle class

Does anyone actually believe that Elizabeth Warren has a viable plan to save America's middle class? If you fall into that category, please contact me. I have a bridge to sell you. The truth is that she espouses everything that has caused America's middle class to go into decline. She supports expanding the government when the only cure for America's economic problems is to do exactly the opposite. It is the cancerous growth of government that has caused the problems in the first place. Is there greed? Absolutely. Unfortunately, it is the greed of politicians that matters most. They have sold favors to businesses, licenses and investments that crush honest competition. The very government that is supposed to insure a level playing field for all has been tipping the scales in favor of those who pay the most for such political favors. Meanwhile, honest commercial entrepreneurs suffer like a team playing a sport in which the referees are calling every play in favor of the competition. Then, when the political entrepreneurs fail, the politicians double-down with investments to save them. Of course, the bailouts fail and the real losers are the fans watching from the sidelines, the American taxpayers, principally the middle class. I bet you never heard anything like that from Elizabeth Warren, did you? No, she simply distracts you from the truth by focusing on more government programs that sound oh so good, so well intentioned. How many more of these must fail before the American voter wises up?

There are two meanings of "saving". one is to make them free, so that they are free to do what they do even if that is their own demise, the other is to enslave it and make it your pets. :) Both considered saving. The spirit of those two maybe somewhat similar in the concept of "saving", but the end result for the "saved" is completely different. One become stronger and independent from their savor; the other become weaker and relay on their savor.
