Very interesting! Japanese whiskey, collectible? I thought that I would never see the day back in my youth. Suntory worked, if there was nothing else (no JD). That was after the scotch was gone. Then everything else tasted like crap anyway.

A local shop in KY finally got a few bottles of Pappy Van Winkle. They told me they pay around $70 and up for it. It's on top shelf behind counter. Prices range from $499 for 10 yr old to $999 for 23. Still a bargain, but too rich for my blood. The stuff that "Louisville Lawyers" drink. I grabbed some $40 Woodford Reserve and was on my way.
