Quite an interesting article. It caught my eye primarily because one of the "ingredients" of Vimovo is Nexium, something that DoD just dropped from its formulary due to skyrocketing cost/pill. I learned that the hard way when I walked into the Ft Rucker LAHC pharmacy to drop off a prescription for it.
I was surprised to note that Vimovo is a product of Ireland-based company, Horizon Pharma. I'd really like to know more about that company and whether basing in Ireland is simply a tax avoidance scheme. I'd also like to know where this Vimovo combination of Aleve and Nexium is manufactured. Likewise Duexis, a similar convenience drug peddled by Horizon Pharma that combines ibuprofen and famotidine, AKA Advil and Pepcid.
Good post!

I saw that as well. It's amazing how much money we waste on these "new drugs" when we could go to Costco or Sam's Club and buy the two pills for waaaay cheaper
