Makes sense, how do you get more kids to go to college? Give them huge bonuses to join and money to go to college when they get out.

CPT. Shaulis, I am so glad you posted this and I need to know what can be done about this. I'm currently a veteran student just trying to gain a degree. I'm on my second school in three years, I've spoken to and visited several others and this cuts to the bone. I cannot find an institution that favors veterans as they advertise. When I retired I had over sixty (60) ACE accredited college credits, and can't find a school that will accept more than ten (10). I even went as far as approaching a school in my area that claims to be one of the top and best military schools in the country. This particular school specializes in aviation which was my specialty/MOS in the military. After the first school was forced to close due to dirty dealings and false and misdeeds towards it's students. I was forced "Without ant retribution Thanks or Refunds" to find another school. Now that I'm attending I find myself often questioning the classes they say I need for my degree path. The school boasts a Veterans center Counseling free of charge and much more, but when it comes to accepting credits from military training, I can't help but feel like it's starting all over again. It's all come down to the money and I want to leave school and never go back, but I wanted to be the first in my family to have a degree, but things just aren't working out. I don't agree with theses schools profiting off me as a student by sticking with with classes and courses I don't really need simply to keep me in class longer so they get more money/government funds. Those funds can go to a much better cause than some greed filled institution taking advantage of veterans who've served this nation honorable. What can we do? Taking any and all suggestions recommendations. Curious to know if we can take legal action against these Vet Hunters to send a message. Maybe get the government involved to start investigation more institutions and their practices. Yes, I wanted to be lawyer. Let's hear it guys. I served and worked too damn hard to be raked over the coals for some institutions big wigs to profit wrongfully off Vets!
