Applications received prior to 29 June 2018 may still receive an appointment based upon continually meeting all eligibility requirements after the expiration date of this MILPER. Conditional releases may be received and / or re-validated after the expiration date of this MILPER until Regular Army Appointment is complete.
The CAD program is open to Aviation branch Second Lieutenants (2LT), First Lieutenants (1LT), Captains (CPT), and Majors (MAJ) selected for Army Special Operations Aviation (ARSOA) assignment and have successfully completed their branch’s Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC).
The CAD program is open to RC basic branch CPT in the following BR/FA who completed their Captain Career Course (CCC) and successfully completed a key and developmental qualifying assignment as outlined in DA PAM 600-3: IN, EN, FA, AD, AV, CY, SF, AR, SC, MP MI, FI, PO, CA, AG, CM, EOD, LG and Functional Areas FA26, FA29, FA30, FA46, FA49, FA51, FA52, and FA57. In all cases, CCC completion is required prior to submission of CAD application.
The CAD program is open to RC basic branch CPT who completed their CCC and have not completed a key and developmental qualifying assignment as outlined in DA PAM 600-3 in MOS IN, AD, AV, CY, SF, SC, FI, PO, CA, AG, CM and Functional Areas FA29,and FA30. In all cases, CCC completion is required prior to submission of CAD application.
The CAD program is open to RC basic branch MAJ in IN, EN, FA, AD, AV, CY, SF, AR, SC, MP, FI, PO, CA AG CM, EOD, LG and Functional Areas FA26, FA29, FA30, FA40, FA46, FA48, FA49, FA51, FA52, and FA57. Preference may be given to those applicants who completed their Intermediate Level Education and/or successfully completed a key and developmental qualifying assignment IAW DA PAM 600-3.
The CAD program is open to RC basic branch LTC in EN AD, and FA48. Preference may be given to those applicants who completed their Senior Service College and/or successfully completed a key and developmental qualifying assignment as outlined in DA PAM 600-3.
The CAD program is open to WO1 and CW2 in MOS 120A, 125D, 131A, 140E, 152C, 152E/H, 153D/M/E, 154E/F, 155A/E/F/G, 170A, 180A, 255A/N/S, 290A, 311A, 353T, 420A, 740A, 919A, 920A/B, 921A, and 923A.
The CAD program is open to CW3 in MOS 120A, 125D, 131A, 140E, 151A, 152C, 152E/H, 153E, 154E/F, 155A/E/F/G, 170A, 180A, 255A/N/S, 290A, 311A, 353T, 352N, 420A, 740A, 880A, 920B, 921A, and 948D.
The CAD program is open to CW4 in MOS 120A, 125D, 131A, 150A, 150U, 152C, 152E/H, 153E, 154E/F, 155A/E/F/G, 170A, 180A, 255A/N/S, 290A, 420A, 740A, 880A, 915E, 920A/B, 921A, and 948D.
