As it turns out the kid didn't steal the nugget he was charged on his lunch account. It was a mistake on the part of the school. His record was cleaned and he was exonerated.

The article states he didn't steal the item, and was charged for it. At the time i posted the article he hadn't been cleared. His school is probably run by the same morons.

WOW!!! I would love to say I was surprised but I can't. Something similar happened to my cousins son. He was called to the principals office because a teacher heard form someone else that he said something about another teacher using an expletive. The parents were called in and he was suspended based on third hand information. When an inquiry was done...after the fact...they couldn't prove it and people recanted but the suspension had already happened and been administered...no apologies or anything. Needless to say, my cousins pulled him out of that school and sent him to a local private school where he is getting a much better education and more personalized attention. Now kids aren't perfect but this was third party second hand news. Almost like cashing a third party out of state personal check...probably not worth what it is written on.
