I live less than an hour from the OK border and about three hours from the Cherokee Nation lands. I have to say as sad as it sounds a lot of residents of Oklahoma claim they are in part Native American and unfortunately the favorite tribe is Cherokee which they claim heritage from. Everytime I hear it it just gets my angst up because these people are reconition thieves much like the posers that steal valor from our military. I even had a PSG claim he was part Cherokee, I asked if he was from Oklahoma and he was..........check. Asked him how he knew of his heritage and he said it had been passed down from an earlier generation.......check. Asked him if he ever reconnected with the tribe to trace his roots and the answer was no........check. I think the red line that Senator Warren crossed was not just with the verbal BS but she actually attempted to manipulate affirmative action programs with it to her benefit........and not just once. At least three times in her life she did this. In my view this is not only akin to stolen valor, the additional step is akin to stealing from the less advantaged in our country. No different then BETO O'Rourke's attempt at insider trading in 2013.......he is running in Texas for Senate and you should hear his verbal excuses for getting caught insider trading. "I didn't know it was against the law", "I didn't know it was against House rules", "I didn't know IPO's were not generally available to the public". Yeah right dude, call me stupid but most trading firms will not let you near a financial trading account unless you read the rules of the NYSE in full. If you skipped that step and remained ignorant.......entirely your fault and you need to own it.

SSG Robert Webster
SPC Erich Guenther I live even closer than you do to Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation, though the Osage Nation is a bit closer.
Side note: MG Clarence L. Tinker (for whom Tinker AFB is named) was an Osage.

Well that is interesting. It seems a title was bestowed by herself for her convenience per the author.

"I'm a democratic socialist, not a Democrat or a Republican, so this has nothing to do with party politics." At least the author is honest with the rest of us about his political stance. He deserves a thumbs up for that at least.
