I Am Officially Done Defending Why I'm a Working Mom

You don't need to defend anything to any one, stand proud for whom you, and any idiot that questions you just look them in the eyes and don't say anything, but grin.

It seems there's always judgement whether you have a career or you stay home with kids. At the end of the day you only need to live to your expectations and do what you feel is right for your situation.

I was a working mom, I also was a single mom for a time. Even when it came to a point that I didn't have to work I did. I want my daughters to know that there is no shame in it. No one was neglected and everyone got all the love they needed. No one was raised by daycare, my parents were there when one of us couldn't be there. My kids are happy and healthy and most of all none of my daughters have grown up thinking that they need to be taken care of to survive. They know that a marriage is a partnership and not a man ruling oferhis spouse. I am not saying that people on rally point are like that but I have several cousins that believe that is how life is supposed to be.
