How about the attorney taking him into his home in house arrest? I'm guessing he was rounded up while leaving his local Mosque with the family and our terrible troops made a mistake. He is there for a reason, what is it? Unless you are on the front line fighting these terrorists, you shouldn't have a vote on their disposition.

How many released Guantanamo prisoners re-offend?
Republicans who agree with Donald Trump’s promise to keep Guantánamo Bay open have argued that too many released prisoners have committed new acts of terrorism. U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., said that Trump should put the worst offenders around the globe in the prison and provide transparency about the activities of released prisoners.

Gtimo sounds more like a club med than a bad place to go. Many people have never bought into the idea that terrorist-types somehow have the same rights, or more, than American citizens. Terrorist-types have no such honorable or noble illusions and as long as we treat them like civilized opponents we can never win against them. We need to sink lower than their level, in the views of some, to combat their never-ending aggression against US. When their children are raised from infancy to hate US, we need to get our game face on and get serious. Terrorist-types will beat US using our own freedoms against US. Even in WWII, we had to give up on being Mr. Nice Guy and use the atom bomb on them, twice, before the finally learned and gave in.
