This started way before the current election. Read the coffee table book Whiskey Tango Foxtrot about the coverage of the 2nd Iraq War written by a NYT stringer / reporter. More than once the author of that book was frustrated. He had photos of insurgents with weapons and the paper refused to print the photos responding back to the reporter that the weapons looked like plants by U.S. Troops and they heard the insurgents were probably shot unarmed, so they believed the later and would not print the photos. NYT second guessing the war correpondent in the field who was there and saw with their own eyes what went down. It is so sad to read stuff like that. I have always looked at the NYT with healthy skepticism. How can you trust an organization when it's own war correspondents tell you not to.

Not a Sean Hannity fan myself as I think he takes hie reporting and conclusions way too far and a lot of what he says on the air is not factually sourced. Some of his commentaries are so bad that other FOX journalists correct him right on air.....on his own damn show!!!

I don't particularly care for Hannity because he sounds like a stuck record, same stories and even the same voice inflections night after night. I could easily watch him one time per week and not feel like I missed anything from him. He has some outstanding guests though.

I agree with y'all, SSgt Christopher Brose and SPC Erich Guenther! To me, he's just another RINO enabler.

Cpl (Join to see) - I don't know that I'd say that. He's not a big fan of RINOs.

I would be interested in seeing the psychology on how journalism has shot itself in the foot and how difficult it will be for journalism to rectify this faux paus (understatement of the year).

This sounds as much as a propaganda piece as the journalism it purports to eviscerate. The opening line in which the author purports to be a "Liberal" sounds disingenuous. I love the part where he "concedes" that the Right wing media "carried water" for Trump (just to be fair). Look, American journalism isn't "dead". It's evolving. Those with big investments in journalism as an industry are desperately clinging to the past. Emerging journalists are struggling to make their voices heard. Meanwhile, popular journalism (witnesses with smart phones) are distributing a flood of raw data every minute of every day. The traditional main stream journalists are like Neanderthals
