When peace talks on Syria occurred in Geneva, Western states wanted to hold Syrian officials accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity. They sought regime change and wanted to remove Assad. Fast-forward to yesterday, and visiting Turkey yesterday, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said two important things: 1) the fate of Syria's Bashar al-Assad is for the Syrian people to decide; and 2) after liberating Raqqa from ISIS, it is to be governed by local forces (Marjanovic, 2017).

There are too many cooks in the Kitchen... and the over all Goal is be over shadowed...
The Primary Goal is eradicate ISIS...
Secondary... Establish a safe Stable and secure Government In Syria... and the damn Anti Government Rebels are No better than ISIS and too busy arguing amongst themselves and still pushing for an islamic state Like Iran... and the Kurds Need to be recognized and a Homeland established in Iran, Iraq, and Syria...
This was the Screw Up By the League of Nations in re-drawing geo-political Geo-National Lines after WW I as prescribed By the imperial World Powers at the time...
