So he did in fact start a fire and burn some woods down, just not the specific woods in question? The ICE statement said nothing about him starting the particular fire that has caused all the damage. It basically said in light of the larger fires in the news, the fact this previously deported illegal was in custody several times and released, and now has started a fire of any magnitude is troubling. These sanctuary places that do not honor detainers kill me. There are people that get deported for really bad crimes (rape, robbery, drug trafficking, gang activity, etc) and when they come back and get arrested for shoplifting, simple assault, DUI, etc, ICE tries to place a Detainer on them...because they are bad f'ing people!!! They post bond, serve 7 days, or released on their own recognizance (what a joke that is), and ICE is not contacted. Sometimes they do call but literally say they are walking out the door right now. Wow, thanks fucknuts! They go back into the community and continue their life of crime until their next arrest and release.

If I am reading this correctly, this individual has been arrested in California on several occasions and ICE has asked the local law enforcement to hold him, they refused. He has been deported twice and has returned each time.
How about this, the sanctuary State of California is then liable for the damage and destruction done by this individual and should be held financially liable for any damage that he caused. Let the State of California reimburse the home owners, farmers and vineyards for their losses.

It would curtail their BS behavior, but they would weasel out of any kind of responsability
