It appears affirmative action is being brought into the limelight. Admittedly, I never really paid much attention to it. Do you think eliminating affirmative action is the right thing to do? Share your thoughts with the Rallypoint community!

The problem with affirmative action is if it goes away the failure of minorities to achieve is focused on racism and not why minorities cannot compete with whites. When they took away photos from promotion boards, minority promotions went down and this proves we have an entire group of people that rely on how they look to get ahead not based on capabilities and most qualified. Every day that we have affirmative action is another day it hurts the very people it was designed to help.
