SCPO (Join to see) Say it isn't so! Senior Chief!! I own two Model A fords, a 1931 Pick Up and a 1929 4 Door town Sedan. What a shame. Ford and Chevy were America's cars! But I am a 70 year old dinosaur! When I was a cop we all drove Crown Vics! I also own two 1957 Chevy's. Another Icon of the rock and Roll era that I grew up in as a teen! We also drove those old Model A fords and turned them into hot rods!

And, if you are only going to make one car, thank God it is the Mustang! That has been one sweet ride since it first came out. When they first came out I was in High school and you could buy a New Mustang for $1900. But we only made $1 an hour back then in a part time job in a grocery store!!

I see FORD's point. But I believe they shot themselves in the foot by (1) dropping the Vic, (2) not dramatically ddiversifying their line-up of cars, and (3) not going after radical design changes in their remaining inventory.
