This is Harmandar Sahib or commonly referred to as the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab State of India. It is magical with the Sarovar or Holy Bath surrounding it. The walk way leading to the Harmandar Sahib is removable and so, when under attack, the path leading to the Golden Temple is removed, as was the case during Operation Blue Star in 1984.

There is great beauty in India spoiled only by over population. My wife and I have been watching Good Karma Hospital and seeing a side to India that we never saw before

Population growth had to take place due to lack of education in rural India; family planning was limited to the cities only.
The beauty of India was not spoiled by a lack of education or poor family planning. Indian beauty was ruined by invaders, who stole national riches as battle treasures and misled the people into famines, which kept rural areas repressed and underdeveloped, till today, CPT Jack Durish.
I am not read-on to Good Karma Hospital, but sounds like a hospital run by a local Spiritual Preacher or by a foreign missionary. I will investigate and get back to you, because many such spiritual healing centers exist in India, but most are fake story based FDI creations. WOW! Here in America we don't really get an appreciation for those old civilizations outside CONUS. A building or home gets old we just replace it with a new one. Out n the rest of the world there are homes and building dating back hundreds of years. Thanks for the share.
