There are some who seem to think that if the law is broken enough it will get changed..

"Immigration restriction" is what every other country on the planet practices. People who complain about immigration policy and deportations sound like they've never been to another country before. I challenge any opponent of President Trump's policies to go to Mexico or Ukraine or South Korea and treat those nations' immigration laws with the same contempt ours are treated with, and see what happens.

Think we need to take several steps back, immigration reform has been needed for decades but nothing new comes out of Congress, primarily because of politics. Plus there's the fact that we refuse to enforce the inadequate laws that are on the books.

We do need to evaluate the problem. Under Regan's plan, the boarder would be secured and illegal's would not be allowed any form of amnesty. Dreamer act etc. We are a nation of laws that we don't really enforce

Sgt Vance Bonds Exactly, only enforcing laws when it's convenient does nothing to help anyone. The Mississippi plant raids this week are a good example. We had law enforcement on site but they only rounded up workers, not the employers who illegally hired them.
