If State Farm had insurance on the submarine force, they would have gone our of business in the 50s. This is not news to those of us that served on subs for their entire career.

Best one was the Russian fast boat that got caught in the towed array of one of the US Navy's Spruance Class destroyers and was within an international mile or two of being dragged into port in Charleston, South Carolina.
