In about-face, Iraq's maverick al-Sadr moves closer to Iran

Reads like a shaky alliance of convienence. Would rather have a shaky parliamentary coalition then fighting in the streets. That is how parliamentary systems are supposed to work. I am still unconvinced that Iran has more influence than a regular border neighbor would. Especially if they have to use Iranian Generals to convince the different parties to form a coalition.
