In Syria, Russia Acts as U.S. Pulls Back

I've posted this same point before. We either need to commit or get out. This is turning into another Korean or Vietnam. Where we just trickle in troops with no clear defined goals and end up fighting for nothing. The last two brought us head to head with china, this time it would be Russia. So far it seems Obama is going to ignore all this and let Trump inherit the mess while he tries to secure some type of legacy that don't involve a golf course.

Obama's weak leadership caused a void and Islamists, and Russia were there to fill it. Sort of like Lybia on a grander scale. Now we have to deal iith the mess that he created. We missed our big chance to act, when the refugee herd moved though Europe. We should have set up a safe zone against the Iraqi boarder back then. That is probably our best idea, it will help the most people while costing the least amount of American blood. As an added bonus we can insert intel collection assets into the herd and gain a lot of useful info in the process, sort of a revers infiltration of what ISIS did with the refugee population going into Europe.
