I think we could use India, and they don't seem to have a global agenda like China does for world domination.

The Ministry of Defense is still mulling over beefing up its air power in the wake of Chinese aggression along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the most likely purchase will be the F-15EX or the latest version of it. India wants to equip its force with homemade goods; however, the U.S. won't transfer to India the design and technology of its goods to support Make in India.

Don't you think CPT, it is the pacific ocean trading/shipping lanes that are a real concern?
Trade is good as long as it is fair for us both. But, there is so much at stake. Water coming from the Mountains China could squeeze also Sir.

Cpl Mark A. Morris, China wants contro of the Shyok River Valley, which originates at the Rimo Glacier that is a tongue of Siachen Glacier (the highest battleground on Earth). If China wins Shyok then, it will gain Leh-Ladakh, Karakoram Pass and a portion of the Siachen Glacier. India will never be safe thereafter with two enemies (China and Pakistan) knocking down its doors. Ladakh is a buffer keeping China and Pakistan away.

The Pacific, SCS and the Indian Ocean are three vital trade/shipping lanes that China wants to dominate through its MSR initiative. The original Silk Route began in China and crossed the SCS into the Indian Ocean to the Arabian Sea and up the Red Sea, and the Euphrates into Europa by land. China is attempting to expand its influence by recreating this Silk Road and Route (over land and sea).
