I would work as a VA fraud investigator FOR FREE. We need hundreds of them. Maybe more.

Sadly, we continue to see this. Vision and hearing are often targets. It seems many think it is difficult to prove malingering in sensory issues.

Agreed. Anything issue involving senses is ridiculously tough to dispute. I see it all the time with "back pain".

MAJ (Join to see) - I could see where that could be an issue as well. Not to discredit anyone, but we often see the trifecta of hearing loss, back pain, and headaches are present when malingering is a concern.

Agreed. There are people who definitely have those issues, but there are some scammer amongst the truly affected. It is people like the one referenced in this article that bring about the issue of abuse
