Gas prices dropped because of Covid, not because Trump actually did anything, lmao.
All of that reckless spending is coming due, too. At least now the money is actually helping people.

There is little that govt can do to affect gas prices. They can start a war, impose sanctions, and even tap the national reserves. The rest is supply and demand. Global affairs may cause change, and govt is involved in that. The energy folks and OPEC ultimately hold the cards, and due to covid and other factors inflation is inevitable as folks go back to work.

Shutting down a pipeline causes oil to be shipped by rail or truck. Reliance on OPEC instead of energy sufficiency also rises oil prices which cause gas price to increase. The government did it's best to affect gas price and that increase harms the poor. Those making it paycheck to paycheck.
The current administration knows what it is doing.
