Injured officers, Democrats still waiting for Jan. 6 plaque

Not ONLY Democrats, BTW, are asking: Why hasn't this been completed? This plaque was mandated by federal law in 2022 and required to be completed by March 2023. This was a responsibility of the 118th Congress and the Office of the Architect of the U.S. Capital. I have written to both to ask: why?? Two "National Appreciation of Law Enforcement" days have passed, and a third is approaching. These law enforcement men & women had a riot on their hands 4 years ago and defended our Capital. The plaque is done, but there remains no public timeline for its installation. Why??

Far too many people here believe this was no big deal, those involved were patriots, and/or it was all staged by the FBI.
We who have not drank Trump's Kool-Aid know better.
That plaque should have been issued and a ceremony by the President to place it in the appropriate spot.
Now it will probably never see the light of ay.
