The truth is we shouldn't be paying them I dime. What most Americans don't know as of now, among the dockets of American terrorism cases against the Tehran regime, there are a total of roughly $49 billion in outstanding American judgments — with hundreds of billions more likely to follow. A recent SCOTUS lawsuit against the Central Bank of Iran was in in favor of victims of terrorism and their families in a 6-2 split clearing the way for them to collect nearly $2 billion from the central bank of Iran. This was this April, 2016. Personally I think its a rather optimistic approach to believe Iran wants to be like Libya and clear it books in an effort to get sanctions lifted as it appears they played the nuke card in the JCPOA. More interesting is how congress and SCOTUS are effecting foreign policy via law. I still have a funny feeling somehow we will end paying for the centrifuges we may or may not have blown up.
