I have seen some video of places within the abandoned circle. It is amazing how quickly nature takes back over in these areas. However, we are quite sensitive to radiation and it will be a long time before people can safely reside or even stay for a period of time in the area.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I have read that the papers of Marie Curie are so radioactive that they are still kept in a lead lined box, and they are only read in radioactive suits and gloves.
