There’s also many crematoriums packing 15 or more bodies into the ovens at the same time leaving a mix of ashes that might not even be the family member that passed,

No doubt, with little or no oversight.

We were notified of a possible mix of ashes when we went to pick up Dad's ashes. Not at all sure there was any knowledge or agreement that would be the case.
How do we even know the ashes actually belong to bodies?

Look up the temp required to cremate a human body. They are not going to shut down the retort, and wait for it to cool after every body. Yes, I worked in the deathcare industry for a time.

Ooooh. . . big unaddressed issue! Probably difficult to try to address too or it would not still be unregulated<sigh> Wondering if all the bodies actually WERE donated.
