I am not doubting what you wrote, if this is 100% accurate it is VERY disheartening and corrective actions need to be in place STAT.
As many on RP know, I come from 3 generations of NYPD, my nephew just celebrated his one year anniversary. Knowing the vetting process for NYPD/FDNY they work tirelessly to hire the best of the best which goes without saying, includes service members.
