The brain is an organ that can be affected by environment, nutrition, health, etc just like every other human organ. Why would anyone be surprised by or argue with the premise that is still evolving and improving?

Since test have a varied over time you relay can no compare IQ over time. And the median IQ at any given time will always be 100, that is what a IQ of 100 means. Now if you gave people the same tests as were give a century ago, and fouls evidence of people taking the century old test in multiple time periods in between It might make statistical sense. And since IQ is a statistical comparison not a hard number statistical significance is essential.
IQ results can not increase over time since what 100 means rises with the mean .I read it twice, and it looks like someone was trying very hard to prove an agenda.
We may, or probably be getting smarter with better nutrition and childhoods exposure to mental stimulus, but this study does little to prove it.
