Since his mid-adolescence, his disordered personality is exhibited. It is a persisting illusion as he actually had very few "wins" in his lifetime. Disordered personalities are persisting, rigid and inflexible. And he exhibits no insight whatsoever of its self-destructive path. I never understood why he bought the Eastern Shuttle everyone knew at that time it would flop and suck him under. Believe it or not AMTRAK dominates that market with trains and has an almost 63% share of the air / travel market in that small section of the Northeast. Airlines can't make a profit on that short of a haul. The problem was he bought the airline shuttle and not just once casino but several at once and all in a single place (Atlantic City) instead of diversifying across several markets. He was in way over his head.
