The poll shows almost half of liberal Democrats — 47 percent — say that if a friend supported Trump, it would actually put a strain on their friendship. Among Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters more broadly, the number is 35 percent. White and more-educated Democrats are more likely to feel that it's tough to even be friends with a Trump supporter.

I never questioned my friendship with any supporter of Presidents Clinton or Obama even though I felt strongly that both were detrimental to the nation by every measure. Now, I am reminded daily by my wife that I mustn't respond to the comments of friends, or especially family, who savage President Trump. With every passing day I am more and more ashamed of their intolerance and their ignorance. I am appalled at their ignorance by which they are incited to ever greater levels of hysteria by the propaganda of the Left. Still, I must remain silent. However, I remind my wife that by strapping down my safety valve, she is risking an even greater explosion when the final insult is rendered.

PO3 (Join to see) - Honestly, I have discovered that the dupes of the Left are so removed from reality that it is impossible to insult them. I have even offered the this: "Think of the worst insult you can imagine, the one that would make your blood boil and make you want to take a swing at me. Now, just imagine that I've said it to you." They stare at me bewildered, shrug, and respond with a nervous laugh. I believe that they are now beyond imagining...

Ah yes. Same old song and dance, just a different administration. This happened under Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc.
