Have you heard of Blended Retirement? It's the new retirement system, which will be implemented in January 2018. If you have less than 12 years of active military service or less than 4,320 Reserve Component retirement points on 31 December 2017, you are eligible to opt into the new Blended Retirement System (BRS) during 2018.

I wish this thing rolled out a long time ago, but good to see junior members being able to do this!
