It would be nice to reach a compromise and get along with each other. I remain hopeful that it will, but won't be shocked if it doesn't either.

I got a far as "Tensions between Iran and the United States have heightened since the election of Trump". For some odd reason I recall a Democrat President that had some harsh words about Iran. So, are the Iranian issues we are experiencing new or have we kicked the Foreign Policy can for the last 40 years until someone has to A) Deal with the Threat or B) Be defeated by the Threat.

Erin Nelson - I was tracking all and then you pulled the UN card on me. I got nothing. Talk about a wet sandwich. We are dealing with Iran. Saudi Arabia will nuke up, Israel will add to their stockpile, and then we all watch High Noon together. This time without Gary Cooper. I think the Ayatollahs are shaking in their dresses. And thats ok by me.

My point is it with any Nation we deal with at any time for any reason that actions we state should be completed we shouldn't make threats, we should state actions, governments have a tendency to be with each other like a child testing the waters to see just how far they can push the barriers before and action actually occurs. If we only state actions then they know we are serious and what we say that we will do what we say and they'll be a lot less boundary stretching LTC (Join to see) and the UN being the perfect example of threats not carried out, how many years, how many times has Iran blocked in inspections, how many times has the in followed through in what it stated would be the result if Iran didn't cooperate. The results are empty as the threat is empty.
For this I say don't make threats, state actions.
