Iran, Israel clash to 'define new rules of the game' in the Mideast

I don't see anything resembling a change in Israel's position or defense posture. They appear as ever, determined to defend themselves from aggression in any form. Iran, on the other hand, seems determined to up the ante and is being encouraged by Russia. How sad that we ignored the opportunity to make an ally of Russia and simply chose to poke the Bear...
