(CNN)Iran's foreign minister says Saudi Arabia is "panicking" over the potential for reduced tensions between Tehran and the West, that he is happy for the families of Americans previously imprisoned in Iran, and that the U.S. is "addicted" to sanctions.

The Saudis are rightly concerned that lifting sanctions and unfreezing assets provided greater capability inside Iran. They are also rightly concerned that Iran (declared state sponsor of terror) exports forces, weapons, equipment, and money to other areas of the Middle East to foment aggression and outright war (e.g. Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon).
They are concerned with the warming of relations with Iran, but I wouldn't say anything like "panicking".

That taking of a Americans and parading them before the camera was not to Shame Obama. But a sign to the Saudi's that the United States does not have their back.
