How will Iraq and Turkey react to this move?? Will any western countries support them?
They are the best ISIS fighter we got in that region and they historically diversified culture make that a glitch in that region that Christian actually share the same right with Muslim, and also a diversified military that have Kurd, Yazidi and Christian.

Ben Franklin's quote about "democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat" certainly applies in this case. The problem with Iraq is the country will never be more important that the religious group, it will always be the Shiites in power dominating the Sunni and small minorities, makes total sense to separate the country into independent states so they can all have their own governance.

I'd be fine with removing several blue states from the voting block and see which side fares better with time. Come to think about it that is exactly why the 10th amendment was written.
