Irvine council rejects land swap that would have relocated veterans cemetery out of Great Park

Crazy politics isn't limited to the District of Calamity. You can find it in every state house and in every county, city, and town council. Here we have veterans working in concert with an enlightened developer, attempting to resolve the issues standing in the way of development of a national cemetery for those who have served. Sadly, some politicians don't like citizens crafting solutions of their own.
