Any gun is better than no gun when you really need one. Two of the worst gunshot cases I was involved with, in the operating room, were from a .22 and. 32. The bullets literally bounced around inside the chest. Too many holes in too many organs and vessels. Neither one made it off the OR table.
One gun store owner I know carries his main weapon on his hip but carries a pocket pistol as his backup.

I agree. Back in my LE days, I went to many gang shootings where the poor sap was shot in the head with a .22. Just enough penetration to enter the skull but not enough to exit. Made a mess of their brains.

Great article on the Mouse guns. I have a 41 cal Derringer, little sucker has a bark to it.
