Isaiah 45:1-7 NKJV - - Bible Gateway

Several important points to consider in this passage of Isaiah 45:1-7

1) The Lord God controls the destiny of all leaders. He favors whom He will favor, for His purposes.

2) The Lord God controls the treasures and riches of the world, no matter what our eyes see.

3) It is the Lord God Who brings peace and creates darkness and evil (vs 7) ; “darkness” in original Hebrew text is choshek, meaning “darkness, misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness.”
