No President has been more successful at foisting off his failures as achievements. Given the muddled policy - "ruling out enduring offensive operations - that the President is proposing, it is clear that he will soon have another "achievement" to add to his infamous list if Congress greenlights it...

WTF? Has the "War of Necessity" changed to Iraq again? This is another distraction, the War Powers Act

1SG Verge Matthews would you be so kind as to explain your downvote? Kind of hard to accept, concur, disagree with a person opinion, when that person fails to state said opinion.
Thanks

I think it's ironic how his position has flipped. I coulda told him this was going to happen when we pulled out in 2011. I left in April 11 and the writing was on the wall.

The lack of a use of force agreement didn't stop Pres Obama from drawing lines in the sand in Syria, or running bombing missions in Libya, or giving support to known Muslim Brotherhood terrorists in Egypt.

Just like the writing was on the wall when we left Iraq after Desert Storm and about 10 yrs later, where did we end up, right back over in Iraq!

When we were in Iraq, people wanted our troops out.
"It's not our war!!!"
When we left Iraq, people said we withdrew too quickly.
"All our efforts were in vain!!!"
We're all guilty of grossly simplifying political issues and damn if it isn't military personnel who are the first to criticize a leader whether it be our president or the guy leading a PT formation.
From what I understand so far, no one knows what the hell is going on in our government anyway. I don't want to go into another war where our rules of engagement force us to walk on eggshells for the sake of political correctness. I also don't want to back down from these punk terrorists.
What's a military to do?

We all know, especially those that have served and deployed to these Operations that this is all about the money! Without War or Conflict, there is no money to be made!
