I'm not convinced, and I don't think I ever will be, that the armies of Iraq and Afghanistan will ever be able to stand on their own.

SSG (Join to see) It is a tribal culture. Unfortunately, the only thing that keeps the tribes in something resembling unity is having a strong dictator who can rule by force. I agree that the armies will not be able to stand on their own. There will always be animosity. At least until people decide religion is no longer a good enough reason to kill each other.
