Islamic State leader says 'no retreat' from Mosul assault

Bypassing pockets of resistence inside the city seems like a bad idea to me. Trying to speed up the operation will only make it worse when they eventually have to reduce those pockets... anybody else?

this is so they can set Up the Next strong Hold and take out as many infidels as possible
