This story does not fit the narrative of the moderate muslim. It is ignored because you would have to confront reality to deal with it. If that sort of attack happened at a Christian event or rally it would still be talked about today (and should). CBS, her own employer mostly buried her story in the grave of political correctness.

It is a crime here Shirley, not so much there. That is why that many men can gang rape and sodomize a woman in the middle of the city square and then urinate and masturbate on her for good measure. Surely you are not comparing the two events are you? If a pastor rapes a woman it is a crime and can and will be pursued if reported etc. Stop being an apologist for gang rape.

SFC Shirley Whitfield - Why do you downplay the reality of radical islamic terrorism? The West chose to ignore what happened to her, and since then, the same thing has happened to thousands of other women and girls. It's just beyond me why some give savages a pass.

SFC Shirley Whitfield - Shirley, I don't know how you could come away from my comments thinking I believe rape is okay. You are the one being the apologist for gang rape of a woman in the city square in Cairo. You try to distract and deflect with comments about unrelated and contrived issues.

When was the last time Christians here gang raped a woman in the middle of lets say New York, Los Angeles and everyone watched or jumped in. You also forget they were raping her and calling here a Jew and an American, she is neither but hey, why let a fact or two get in the way.

So now radical islamists are honest and home grown terrorists are the real threat. You need a massive dose of reality and perhaps some mental health help.

Rape under any guise is still rape and should be condemned and if the situation and evidence warrant, the perpetrator(s) should be castrated (ok, maybe over the top, but it will certainly prevent future occurrences.) However, the issue here is the cultural pervasiveness that encourages this behavior.
