Isolated Iran leader lashes out at Europe as nations join US in ramping up pressure

Germany, France, and Britain pressuring Iran about violations of the nuclear deal. Although the US pulled out, those three are very much still in, and for the last month have been looking for ways to pressure Iran back into compliance.

Three quick takeaways, in my mind, anyway.
1) Someone should tell all the Democratic candidates for president about this. This was totally ignored in the recent debate, where it was even implied the main European powers were backing Iran against evil Trump and the vicious American policies.
2) It amusing to look at the mainstream news outlets concerning this. The NYT is speculating that this is a very subtle European ploy to save Iran and the deal from almost certain American destruction. The WaPo is reporting an unnamed source has revealed Trump is blackmailing Europe into these actions. I think the Europeans are neither master plotters nor hapless dupes of American policy, but interested powers keen to keep the crazy mullahs from getting nuclear weapons.
3) The American success in putting Iran back on their heels has encouraged the normally quite timid European powers to actually stand up for their own self interests, at least at this juncture.
