Is the POTUS taking COVID-19 serious if he’s unwilling to meet in the middle with Democrats to provide relief for suffering families?

I believe that he is doing the best that he can without being stonewalled.
Schumer/Pelosi and Facebook. Just where I go for honesty. The President acted, because these clowns don’t understand the difference between compromise and capitulation.

A1C Jordan Brenner - The outrage I have is that there is zero constitutional authority to provide income for anyone. I am against this all together. Its a personal responsibility issue. Businesses can purchase catastrophic insurance for things like this. And why is the Fed's on the hook when it's local and states shutting things down? Under the 10th Amendment they have the power to tax, they should be accountable FULLY for their decisions.

A1C Jordan Brenner - What loopholes? so many believe the federal government can tax and give everything. There are 18 enumerated powers and the powers to tax were only to support those powers. Additional power through the amendment of convention of states was supposed to be tough but not impossible. All powers not enumerated fell to the states and people, 10th Amendment. The issue is no one wants to take personal responsibility and many have zero clue how the government was designed to work because politicians have not followed that process, usurped power and the courts have not done their job of strict constitutional interpretation and ruling but advocacy and legislating from the bench. Destroying the very fabric of the constitutional framework.
