Too bad there's no one left in FORSCOM / TRADOC who can define "Old School" without looking it up on Wikipedia. There may be instruction manuals buried in the Pentagon's basement, but that takes teamwork and effort. Q. How will we know when it's not BS propaganda? A. When new MRE team recipe cookbooks appear, and authentic withdrawal from "Room Service" commences.

I am sure I qualify as an "Old School" scout dating back to 1970. My first Scout platoon was 9 gun jeeps and an M113 for the PSG. Not sure how foxholes come into play as we were rarely in a position long enough to dig them. Baby wipes? Really? The article does a fair job of pointing out the reliance on contractors and the detrimental effect it has had on basic soldiering skills.

Not my words, it's the DA. New way of Warfare? The Pentagon said "Old School" which includes language. Replace Terrorist w/ Enemy across the board. Truth? Not a chance in hell.
